Summary
Hospitals billing as telehealth originating sites must now use HCPCS code Q3014 with Revenue Code 0780 on institutional claims. Claims missing this code combination will be rejected with error code T55.
Action Required
Immediately: Hospital billing teams must update institutional claim systems to require HCPCS code Q3014 on the same revenue line as Revenue Code 0780 for all telehealth originating site services. Update billing software rules to prevent submission of Revenue Code 0780 with any other procedure code. Failure to include Q3014 will result in claim rejection with error code T55.
