Summary
Illinois Department of Human Services is implementing a Central Scanning Unit (CSU) for Long Term Care providers to submit documentation via fax to (217) 557-4965, effective April 26, 2021. The ABE Partner Portal remains the preferred method, but providers can now use CSU fax as an alternative when the portal is unavailable.
Action Required
Long Term Care facilities should continue using ABE Partner Portal as primary method for document submission. When portal is unavailable, configure fax machines for Batch Send and fax documents to CSU LTC at (217) 557-4965 with customer name and IES case number on first page. Do not email or mail documents directly to DHS MFO Offices.
