Summary
CMS has determined that Illinois Supportive Living Program Dementia Care Settings cannot require participants to need delayed egress as a safety intervention to receive services. Participants who don't require delayed egress can still receive SLP waiver services and choose to reside in dementia care settings with the ability to leave independently.
