Summary
Illinois has expanded the Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) statewide effective July 1, 2021, with passive enrollment phases continuing through December 1, 2021. Providers are encouraged to join MMAI plan networks for timely payment and continuity of care for dual-eligible patients.
