Action Required
By October 1, 2021: Billing team must update system to require modifier GT and Place of Service Code 02 for all telehealth behavioral health services using codes 96110, 96112, 96127, and H1000. Update encounter forms and train providers on new requirements. Claims without proper GT modifier and POS 02 will receive error code A59.
