Summary
Procedure code M0201 for in-home COVID-19 vaccination can now be billed up to 5 times when vaccinating fewer than 10 beneficiaries in the same home setting on the same day. Additionally, providers can now bill for third COVID-19 vaccine doses given eight months after the second dose.

Immediately: Update billing system to allow M0201 to be billed up to 5 times per day when administering COVID-19 vaccines to fewer than 10 patients in same home/communal setting. Enable billing for third COVID-19 vaccine dose administration for services beginning August 12, 2021, ensuring 8-month interval from second dose. Update COVID-19 Fee Schedule with new M0201 rules and third dose codes.
