Immediately for claims with dates of service from October 1, 2021: Billing team must update hospice claims to include correct CBSA codes using Value Code 61 for Routine Home Care (Revenue Code 0651) and Continuous Home Care (Revenue Code 0652), and Value Code G8 for Inpatient Respite Care (Revenue Code 0655) and General Inpatient Care (Revenue Code 0656). Verify DeWitt County now uses rural designation CBSA code 99914. Claims with multiple or missing CBSA codes will be rejected.
