Illinois is transitioning the Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) process to a new partner, Maximus, and a new web-based system called AssessmentPro effective March 14, 2022. This affects all PASRR submissions for Medicaid-certified nursing facilities, including Level I screens and Level II assessments for Serious Mental Illness.
Action Required
By March 14, 2022: Hospitals and long-term care facilities must transition to the new AssessmentPro system for all PASRR Level I screenings and Level II SMI assessments. Discharge planning, social work, and admission staff must register for Maximus training webinars by contacting ILPASRR@maximus.com with subject line 'Please add me to the Illinois PASRR contact list.' Include full name, title, facility/organization name and email address.
