Summary
Illinois is changing the payment method for Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) providers effective December 31, 2022. NCR/JetPay will no longer be available, and providers must switch to ACH Direct Debit or check payments to continue participating in the GEMT program.
Action Required
By December 31, 2022: Transportation providers participating in Illinois GEMT program must complete ACH HFS3848G form and submit to Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services at PO Box 19491, Springfield, IL 62794-9491. Alternative option is to remit payments via check noting 'GEMT Payment' to same address. Contact HFS.GEMT@illinois.gov for questions.
