Summary

Illinois Medicaid has changed the payment method for Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) supplemental payments. NCR/JetPay is no longer available effective December 31, 2022, and providers must now use ACH Direct Debit or check payments.

Action needed
By March 31, 2023: Transportation providers enrolled in Illinois GEMT program must submit payment for 2022 quarters 1 and 2. Complete ACH HFS3848G form and return to Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services or remit payment via check marked 'GEMT Payment' with invoice number to PO Box 19491 Springfield, IL 62794-9491. Invoices will be received by January 31, 2023.
