Summary
The annual requirement for Long Term Care facilities to reapply for expedited payment status is being reinstated following the end of the public health emergency. Facilities that don't reapply by June 30, 2023 will lose expedited payment status and return to normal payment timelines.
Action Required
By June 30, 2023: Long Term Care facilities (NF, SLP, MC/DD, SMHRF) must reapply for expedited payment status to maintain faster payment processing. Contact the Bureau of Long Term Care at 844-528-8444 for reapplication process. Failure to reapply will result in return to standard payment timelines.
