Summary
Illinois Medicaid has ended COVID-19 emergency waivers and now requires High and Moderate risk providers to complete full federal screening including onsite reviews before enrollment approval. Additionally, IMPACT Provider Enrollment phone support is now limited to Monday, Tuesday, and Friday only (no Wednesday/Thursday support).
Action Required
Immediately: Providers in Illinois designated as High or Moderate risk must complete all federally required screening activities including onsite reviews before submitting new applications or modifications through IMPACT system. Contact IMPACT Provider Enrollment at 877-782-5565 for questions, but note phone support is now only available Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Check provider risk level using the IMPACT provider types table to determine if additional screening requirements apply.
