Summary
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services is issuing directed payments to eligible community mental health providers for ACT and CST services based on 2019 claims data. Providers who delivered 300+ ACT units receive $6,000 per customer annually, and providers who delivered 200+ CST units receive $4,200 per customer annually.
Action Required
Immediately: Eligible community mental health centers and behavioral health clinics must review the Department's posted ACT and CST payment calculation reports on the community mental health reimbursement webpage. If eligible for managed care payments, submit the Community Mental Health Directed Payment Form and current W-9 to HFS.BBH@illinois.gov. Fee-for-service payments will be issued automatically by HFS.
