Summary
Illinois is requiring publicly owned ambulance providers to submit new cost reports and signed agreements by October 2, 2023 to participate in the Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) supplemental payment program for 2024. By October 2, 2023: Publicly owned ambulance providers must complete and submit cost report forms (both Excel and PDF with signatures) and signed Intergovernmental Agreements (for new participants) to HFS.GEMT@illinois.gov to participate in 2024 GEMT supplemental payments.
