Summary
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) will be mandatory for Home Health Care Services providers serving Illinois Medicaid patients starting December 31, 2023. Providers must register for HHAeXchange system and complete enrollment forms to continue providing home health services.
Action Required
By December 31, 2023: Home health providers must register for HHAeXchange EVV CONNECT Session at Webinar Registration and complete the HHAeXchange Provider Enrollment Form. Contact HFS.EVV@illinois.gov if implementation email was not received. Failure to complete EVV setup will prevent billing for home health services to IDHS-DDD, UIC-DSCC, and State Plan Medicaid.
