Summary
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is now mandatory for all Medicaid-funded Home Health Care Services providers delivering nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. Providers must complete enrollment and training with HHAeXchange system to ensure claim reimbursement compliance.
Action Required
Immediately (if not already completed): Home health providers must complete HHAeXchange Provider Enrollment Form, review November 2023 Informational Session materials, register for January 2024 System User Training, and sign up for HHAeXchange Open Hours webinar. Update billing workflows to ensure all home health visits are verified through EVV system before claim submission. Claims for nursing, PT, OT, and ST services may be denied without proper EVV compliance.
