Summary
Illinois Medicaid providers using IM+CANS Provider Portal must update their batch upload systems to comply with new IM+CANS 2024 requirements. New data dictionary and sample XML files are available, and providers must test uploads through the portal test system and seek recertification.
Action Required
By April 1, 2024: Community mental health providers must download the new IM+CANS 2024 data dictionary and sample XML batch upload file from the HFS website. Update provider systems to meet new requirements, test batch upload files through the IM+CANS Provider Portal Test System, and obtain recertification.
