Summary
Illinois Home Health Care Service (HHCS) providers delivering nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services must now use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) through HHAeXchange for all Medicaid-funded services. Providers using third-party EVV systems must attend mandatory EDI training to learn how to submit their data to the state system.
Action Required
By February 21, 2024: Illinois HHCS providers using third-party EVV management systems must register for mandatory EDI training at 10:00 AM CST through the HHAeXchange EDI Training Registration page. All providers must ensure EVV data submission to HHAeXchange for Medicaid claims reimbursement.
