Summary
Illinois Medicaid FFS now allows pharmacies to void and rebill COVID-19 vaccine claims to receive administration fees for dates of service from January 1, 2024 forward. Pharmacies must use 'MA' in the Professional Service Code Field when rebilling to capture the administration fee.

Immediately: Pharmacy billing teams should review COVID-19 vaccine claims for Illinois Medicaid FFS patients from January 1, 2024 forward that were submitted without administration fees.
