Summary
Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services is introducing a mandatory electronic Clinical Review Platform (CRP) for all Adaptive Behavioral Support (ABS) prior authorization requests for fee-for-service Medicaid customers. All ABS prior auth requests must be submitted through the new web portal starting April 15, 2025.
Action Required
By April 15, 2025: Billing team must register for access to the new OMI Clinical Review Platform at https://crp.omi.uic.edu and transition all ABS prior authorization requests for Illinois Medicaid FFS patients to the electronic portal. Staff should complete CRP training through MTAC Learning Center before the deadline. Paper-based ABS prior auth submissions will no longer be accepted after April 14, 2025.
