Summary
Illinois Medicaid fixed a system error in the IM+CANS Provider Portal that was preventing providers from updating patient assessments created by other agencies. Providers can now access and update these assessments by submitting an authorization form.
Action Required
Immediately: Providers working with Illinois Medicaid mental health patients who need to update IM+CANS assessments created by other agencies must complete an IM+CANS Authorization for Disclosing or Obtaining Information form. Upload the form to the Portal's IM+CANS Consent Requests page by selecting 'Add Consent' or email it to omi.cansaccount@uillinois.edu. Wait for email approval before accessing patient assessments.
