Summary

Starting January 1, 2026, Illinois Medicaid will limit prior authorization requirements for FDA-approved hemophilia drugs to no more than every 6 months or the length of the prescription validity, whichever is shorter. This applies to both fee-for-service and managed care organizations under Public Act 103-0659.
