By February 27, 1998: Home health agencies must obtain and provide a copy of a surety bond of at least $50,000 (or 15% of annual Medicaid payments, whichever is greater) to the Maryland Medical Assistance Program. The bond must name the agency as Principal, Maryland Medical Assistance Program as Obligee, and use a Treasury-certified surety company. Sign and return the provider agreement addendum. Failure to comply may result in termination from the Maryland Medical Assistance Program.
