Summary
Maryland's Living at Home: Maryland Community Choices Waiver program for adults with physical disabilities will increase payment rates by 2.5% effective July 1, 2003. The rate increase affects various home care services including attendant care, environmental adaptations, and nursing supervision.
Action Required
By July 1, 2003: Billing team must update billing system with new payment rates for Maryland Community Choices Waiver services. Update all P-code procedure rates per the attached schedule. Note that procedure codes will change in October 2003 due to HIPAA requirements - expect additional updates by September 2003.
