Summary
Maryland Medicaid is requiring all EPSDT private duty nursing providers to obtain residential service agency licensure. Current providers without this license have 6 months to comply or lose their ability to bill for services after July 31, 2005.
Action Required
By August 1, 2005: EPSDT private duty nursing providers must obtain residential service agency license from Maryland OHCQ (call 410-402-8040) and complete new provider application for RSA service type 53 (call 410-767-5340). Providers with service type 25 will have their numbers terminated August 1, 2005, resulting in inability to receive reimbursement after July 31, 2005.
