Before November 1, 2006: For Maryland Medicaid Waiver for Older Adults participants receiving Medical Day Care services, billing team must obtain case manager preauthorization forms specifying frequency of attendance before billing. Maintain all preauthorization forms in participant records for 6 years. Cannot bill Medicaid for MDC services exceeding case manager's authorized frequency.
