Summary
Maryland Medicaid is updating their physician fee schedule to incorporate 2007 CPT code additions and deletions, plus increasing fees for approximately 3,000 procedures including evaluation and management, radiology, VFC vaccine administration, and obstetric anesthesia. The changes are funded by a $32.8 million allocation from the Maryland Healthcare Provider Rate Stabilization Fund.

By July 1, 2007: Billing team must download and implement the updated Maryland Medical Assistance Program Physicians' Services Provider Fee Manual Revision 2007 from www.dhmh.state.md.us/mma/providerinfo. Update billing system with new 2007 CPT codes and revised fee schedules for evaluation and management, radiology, vaccine administration, and obstetric anesthesia procedures.
