Summary
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois is updating their National Drug Code (NDC) Fee Schedule with new reimbursement rates for medications effective June 1, 2026. Providers can access the updated confidential fee schedule through Availity Essentials starting on the effective date to evaluate changes to their pharmacy reimbursements.

On or after June 1, 2026: Billing team must log into Availity Essentials to review updated NDC Fee Schedule and evaluate reimbursement changes for medications. Update internal fee schedules and billing systems with new rates. Contact Provider Network Consultant with questions. Monitor monthly Blue Review for ongoing fee schedule updates.
