Summary
Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration updated fee-for-service reimbursement rates for three Medicaid waiver programs (Community Pathways Waiver, Community Supports Waiver, and Family Supports Waiver) effective April 1, 2022. Billing teams must implement new rates from the updated fee schedules for all services provided on or after this date.
Action Required
By April 1, 2022: Billing team must update all billing system fee schedules to reflect the new rates for Community Pathways Waiver (CPW), Community Supports Waiver (CSW), and Family Supports Waiver (FSW) services. Reference the three attached fee schedules (LTSSMaryland DDA Module Fee-for-Service Rates, Attachment A - Community Living rates, and Attachment B - Supported Living rates) to configure correct reimbursement amounts in the billing software. Beginning April 1, 2022, apply only the new rates to all claims for services provided on or after this date. Claims submitted with old rates will be underpaid or denied.
