Summary

By July 1, 2022: Billing team must (1) receive rate letter from Myers & Stauffer LLC at (410)356-9256, verify provider number accuracy, and provide to accountant/bookkeeper to update all nursing facility rates in the billing system; (2) access and implement the updated Medicare Coinsurance Worksheet for all service dates on or after July 1, 2022 via the Nursing Facility Providers page at https://mmcp.health.maryland.gov/longtermcare/Pages/Nursing-Facility-Providers.asp; (3) update personal needs allowance calculations to reflect the new $93.00 monthly amount per Medicaid recipient. Failure to update rates and worksheets will result in incorrect claim reimbursement and potential underpayment.
