Summary
Maryland Medicaid increased payment rates for Rare and Expensive Case Management (REM) services by 8% effective January 1, 2024. Billing teams can now bill the new higher rates for REM services provided on or after this date.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update fee schedules in billing system to reflect new REM Case Management rates: G9001 to $500.79, G9003 to $369.78, G9004 to $220.40, and G9009 to $116.32.
