Summary
Starting April 11, 2022, EmblemHealth will block access to provider portals from computers using outdated browsers. Only Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge with current updates will be allowed to access the portals to protect patient health information.
Action Required
By April 11, 2022: All billing team members and staff accessing EmblemHealth portals must ensure they are using either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers with the latest updates installed. Update all computers used for portal access and establish regular browser update procedures. Without compliant browsers, portal access will be blocked.
