EmblemHealth is transitioning post-acute care services management from eviCore to in-house management effective December 1, 2022. The insurer is hosting webinars in November 2022 to explain how this change affects authorization processes and care transitions for members requiring post-acute services.
Action Required
Before December 1, 2022: Billing and authorization staff should attend the appropriate EmblemHealth webinar for their facility type (acute facilities Nov 8 or 15, skilled nursing Nov 9 or 16, home care Nov 10 or 17, all 1-2 PM via Teams).
