Summary
EmblemHealth is taking over management of all post-acute care services (home health, skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation, long-term acute care) from eviCore effective December 1, 2022. Providers must now contact EmblemHealth directly for PAC service arrangements and support instead of eviCore.
Action Required
By December 1, 2022: Contact EmblemHealth (not eviCore) for all new post-acute care service arrangements including home health, skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation, and long-term acute care hospital admissions. Update workflows and contact procedures. Attend EmblemHealth webinars November 8-17, 2022 for training. Note: eviCore continues handling durable medical equipment and PAC services that started before December 1, 2022.
