Summary
Starting December 20, 2024, EmblemHealth will use daily CAQH file feeds to automatically update provider directory information for non-delegated professional providers. Any changes made in the EmblemHealth provider portal will be overwritten by CAQH data, so providers must update their information directly in CAQH instead.
Action Required
By December 20, 2024: Administrative staff must stop updating provider directory information in the EmblemHealth provider portal. Make all demographic changes (address, phone, specialty, etc.) directly in the CAQH application instead. Inform all staff that CAQH may call quarterly to validate directory information and ensure they are empowered to respond to these validation calls.
