Summary
Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare has updated the list of drug companies and labelers that participate in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program. Healthcare providers must discard all previous lists and use the new April 1, 2006 list to determine which drug products are compensable through the Medical Assistance Program.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must discard all previous lists of participating drug labelers and replace with the attached April 1, 2006 update list. Use the labeler codes on the new list to identify compensable drug products for Medicaid billing. Previously noncompensable drugs under §1121.54 remain noncompensable regardless of labeler participation.
