Summary
Pennsylvania Medical Assistance will stop mailing paper remittance advices to providers who are enrolled to receive Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) effective August 6, 2018. Providers who want to continue receiving paper remittances must disenroll from ERA by August 1, 2018.
Action Required
By August 1, 2018: Billing team must decide whether to continue receiving paper remittance advices or switch to electronic-only. If you want to keep paper RAs, log into PROMISe Provider Portal under 'My Home' > 'EFT and ERA Enrollment' and complete ERA disenrollment process. If no action is taken, paper remittance advices will stop being mailed and you'll only receive electronic remittances.
