Action Required

Action needed
Immediately: Billing team must stop collecting copayments for all COVID-19 testing and treatment services for PA Medicaid patients with dates of service March 1, 2020 and after. Ensure all COVID-19 related claims include appropriate COVID-19 diagnosis codes as specified in provider Quick Tips from March 17 and March 27, 2020. Update billing system to automatically waive copayments for covered COVID-19 services and medications including acetaminophen, antidiarrheals, antiemetics, antihistamines, anti-infectives, asthma/COPD medications, and ophthalmic products.
