Summary
Starting February 1, 2024, doulas certified by the Pennsylvania Certification Board can enroll in Pennsylvania's Medical Assistance Program as Provider Type 13, Specialty Code 130. This allows Medicaid MCOs to contract directly with doulas for services, though doulas cannot bill fee-for-service Medicaid.
