Beginning January 1, 2025, providers must achieve 85% compliance for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records without manual edits for Personal Care Services and Home Health Care Services, increasing from the previous 50% threshold. This applies to Medical Assistance programs including fee-for-service and managed care delivery systems.
Action Required
Before January 1, 2025: Providers rendering Personal Care Services or Home Health Care Services must improve EVV record accuracy to achieve 85% of records without manual edits on a quarterly basis. Access the EVV Compliance Report in the EVV Aggregator to monitor current compliance rates. Train staff on proper real-time visit documentation to minimize post-service manual entries and edits. Non-compliance may result in disenrollment from Participant-Directed Services and other penalties to be detailed in future bulletins.
