Summary
Starting January 1, 2018, all providers in Michigan Medicaid managed care networks must enroll in CHAMPS (Community Health Automated Medicaid Processing System) to receive payment. MCOs will be prohibited from paying unenrolled providers beginning March 1, 2018, with prescription claims affected starting May 1, 2018.
Action Required
By March 1, 2018: All providers serving Michigan Medicaid managed care patients must enroll in CHAMPS system. Complete enrollment at https://milogintp.michigan.gov. Typical providers (physicians, PAs, NPs, etc.) call 1-800-292-2550 for assistance. Atypical providers call 1-800-979-4662. Failure to enroll will result in MCOs being prohibited from making payments for services rendered.
