Summary
Florida Blue Medicare is updating their formulary (covered drug list) effective January 1, 2026, with some current medications no longer covered. They will provide practices with patient-specific reports showing affected drugs and covered alternatives to help facilitate transitions.
Action Required
Before January 1, 2026: Monitor Provider Portal Communication Center or fax for patient-specific formulary change reports from Florida Blue Medicare. Review reports to identify patients taking drugs no longer covered and work with providers to transition patients to covered alternatives. Access updated formulary at FloridaBlue.com/Medicare/forms by selecting patient's plan and clicking 2026 Formulary tab.
