Action Required
Immediately: Billing teams at FQHCs, RHCs, and Tribal Health Centers in Michigan must update billing procedures to claim full PPS or AIR rates for qualifying telemedicine visits, including audio-only and provider home-based visits. Verify procedure codes are on the clinic qualifying visit list at michigan.gov/medicaidproviders and follow telemedicine requirements in MSA 20-09 and MSA 20-13. Document that providers are employed/contracted with the facility.
