Florida Blue is moving sleep study prior authorization management from CareCentrix to Availity AuthAI effective December 29, 2025. Billing teams must switch to using the Availity portal for all sleep study authorization requests, status checks, and submissions for both commercial and Medicare Advantage members.

By December 29, 2025: Billing team must transition all Florida Blue sleep study prior authorization requests from CareCentrix to Availity AuthAI platform. Staff must log into Availity portal to request prior authorizations, submit requests, and check authorization status for sleep study procedures. Train staff on new AuthAI system using resources at Availity.com Learning Center. Note that authorization requests with errors (incorrect provider, place of service, date of service, or missing prior auth) are ineligible for appeal.
