Summary
Michigan Medicaid is expanding Opioid Health Home (OHH) services to additional counties effective October 1, 2022. This expansion adds comprehensive care management and coordination services for Medicaid beneficiaries with opioid use disorders in PIHP Regions 5, 8, and specific counties in Region 4.
Action Required
By October 1, 2022: Providers in affected Michigan counties (PIHP Regions 5, 8, and Barry, Berrien, Branch, Cass, St. Joseph, and Van Buren counties in Region 4) should review the OHH Handbook and prepare to offer Opioid Health Home services to eligible Medicaid beneficiaries with opioid use disorders.
