By October 1, 2024: Billing teams in the 16 expanded Michigan counties (Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, Kent, Lake, Macomb, Mason, Muskegon, Oceana, Ottawa, St. Joseph, Van Buren) must update their systems to recognize ICD-10 codes F91 and F98 as eligible diagnoses for Behavioral Health Home services for youth patients. Update encounter forms and billing software to include these codes for Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan, and MIChild beneficiaries.
