Summary
Wisconsin Partnership special managed care programs will now cover all Medicaid services under a Section 1115 Waiver. Providers must now bill Elder Care Partnership and CLA/Partnership directly through their fiscal agent InsurTec instead of Wisconsin Medicaid fee-for-service for previously excluded services like hospitalizations, x-rays, and lab work.
Action Required
By January 1, 1999: Billing team must redirect all claims for Elder Care Partnership enrollees (ID code 'MCPECO') from Wisconsin Medicaid fee-for-service to InsurTec at P.O. Box 8783, Madison, WI 53708-8783. By May 1, 1999: Redirect all CLA/Partnership enrollee claims (ID code 'MCPCLA') to the same address. Verify enrollee eligibility before providing services and ensure network participation or obtain prior approval from respective organizations before treating enrollees.
