Summary
Wisconsin Medicaid providers must designate a trading partner to receive 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice transactions through the new ForwardHealth Portal. All current trading partner designations will not transfer from the old system and must be re-entered.
Action Required
By August 18, 2008: Billing team must establish a provider account on the ForwardHealth Portal at www.forwardhealth.wi.gov and designate a trading partner to receive 835 transactions. Navigate to 'Designate 835 Receiver' link, enter Trading Partner ID, and click Save. Complete new Wisconsin Medicaid Program Provider Agreement if not already done. Failure to designate will prevent receipt of electronic payment advice transactions.
