Summary
Wisconsin's ForwardHealth is implementing a new web-based portal system (ForwardHealth interChange) in October 2008, replacing the existing Medicaid Management Information System. Providers can begin establishing portal accounts starting August 18, 2008 by requesting a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and must have signed new Wisconsin Medicaid Provider Agreements before account setup.
Action Required
By August 18, 2008: Wisconsin providers must request a PIN by visiting www.forwardhealth.wi.gov, clicking 'Providers' then 'Request Portal Access', and entering NPI/taxonomy code information. Designate one staff member as administrator to establish the account once PIN is received. Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus providers must verify they have signed new Wisconsin Medicaid Provider Agreements before account setup.
