Summary
ForwardHealth is implementing a new Remittance Advice (RA) format in October 2008 to replace the current Remittance and Status Report. Providers will receive paper RAs and can access them online through the ForwardHealth Portal, with enhanced claim processing information and expanded summary sections.
Action Required
Before October 2008: Billing team must establish ForwardHealth Portal accounts at www.forwardhealth.wi.gov to access new Remittance Advice format. Update billing workflows to use new RA sections for claim status tracking. Note that remittance information will no longer be sent on CDs or tapes. Providers may opt out of paper RAs by sending written request to ForwardHealth Provider Maintenance.
